While I was in San Diego last week I had the chance to share a round at Torrey Pines South with a few of my fellow Automatticians. It’s an incredible setting, right on the cliffs facing out towards the pacific.
We managed to get a later twilight tee-time, which means we were there to play and watch a beautiful sunset. The course was very tough, thick ball-swallowing rough and challenging holes. I’m not used to greens where a small tap of the ball will send it rolling fifteen feet! The highlight was a chip-in on hole five for a very unlikely birdie.Image may be NSFW.
